Trying for a doctor's appointment or telephone appointment for couple of weeks told to ring at eight but no answer...when eventually gets through no appointments left . Only got one because nurse needed to see me for bloods
Thank you we value and encourage patient feedback. Our reception staff work extremely hard to answer the high call volume that comes through the surgery. They care navigate to the most appropriate clinician within the primary care team. This can include GPs, Nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and other care providers. We offer same day acute appointments either face to face or via telephone, continuity appointments are also available, these are made for by the GP. Demand on our services is extremely high. Sheffield also offer additional appointments access at evening and weekends at the HUBS across the city.
Dr Billington was absolutely fantastic and I couldn’t ask for anymore
Efficient service
It's impossible to get an appointment, but I was sorting out an issue that didn't require an appointment today. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly
Thank you we value and encourage patient feedback. We have increased the number of face to face appointments that our patients can assess, whilst maintaining the option for telephone consultations. When all our appointments are taken our reception staff will direct patients to 111, this national helpline is open 24 hours, 7 days a week to support primary care. This is a triage service which then gets patients to get the right advice or treatment they need. All patients that are re-directed back to the GPs are then seen as extra patients outside of the appointments available for that day. We also have a patient group that are always looking for new members, if you would like more information and to get involved, click Patient Participation Group - Ecclesfield Group Practice (ecclesfieldgp.co.uk)
Rang when it opened all appointments gone
